Join True West + Inebri-Art to make your very own terrarium!

In this session you will learn the techniques to create a tiny world of plants, rocks, and moss, encapsulated in a glass terrarium. Each participant will get to make one terrarium to take home and will be able to use the skills they learn in the class to make more terrariums in the future. Included materials: medium glass vessel, plants, soil, stones, moss, charcoal, and more.

From start to finish this event is a completely personalized class! Upon ordering, send a photo of your pet (straight on like a school photo, see example above) by 7/12/23 to Marcie at events@paintedbytheshore.com. Following that, your image will be broken down into a line drawing & the outline scored onto a 10" x 10" wooden panel that will be waiting for you at the event.

Bring your original photo to the class (can be on your phone), & your instructor will work with you to make suggestions on custom color blends, so you'll be able to mirror your pet's fur & features. Then when you get home your 0.8" thick panel can be propped with support or hung on the wall to display.

Each ticket includes materials & instruction. This is an *INDOOR/OUTDOOR* event, meaning there's seating BOTH inside & on the Brewery's adjacent covered deck.

Many independent craft breweries collaborate with artists and arts organizations as part of supporting their local communities, resulting in incredible can and schwag art, pop-up galleries and performances, as well as patron coaster art.

To celebrate our local independent craft breweries’ commitment to supporting our creative community, we are hosting an Art of Craft exhibit focused on brewing inside The Gallery at Villageworks in Acton, MA. Join painter Louise Arnold for the reception for her show INLAND/ISLAND, on exhibit in The Gallery at Villageworks this Fall.

Louise Arnold is a landscape painter with a design background in Landscape Architecture. She works both en plein air and from her sketches and photographs. Louise has been fortunate enough to visit and inhabit the landscapes of both Northern Vermont and Prince Edward Island, Canada. Each provides unique experiences: the region of Vermont that she works in tends to be more enclosed and PEI - surrounded by water - more open and expansive. The paintings on display in the Gallery at Villageworks explore the character of these two distinct landscapes and the reciprocal experience of Louise’s own personality interacting with them.

The reception is Free and Open to the Public.
